Kayaking The Pacific Lagoons - Baja
January 17-24
An exceptional adventure to a remote and spectacular
part of the Pacific Coast of Baja, Mexico. Paddle along
a narrow channel protected by the Isla Magdalena.
Sand Dunes on the island and mangrove lagoons offer
a delightful contrast. The La Florida estuary offers the
bird lover with a view of exotic birds so bring your
camera & binoculars! The area is also the winter home
of grey whales. Paddling, beach combing, snorkeling,
hiking, will fill each day of this unique expedition.
Day One:
Fly from U.S. to La Paz, Baja Mexico.
Visit local shops & walk along the romantic seaside
walkway (the Malecon). Also a vantage point for
stunning sunsets and early morning walks.
First nights stay is in a hotel.
Day Two:
Transfer from La Pax to the pacific coastal town Lopez
Mateos. Lunch, kayak & set up camp for the first night.
Day Three:
Breakfast & a hike with the majestic sun
across the island to the pacific.
Day Four & Five:
Paddling through Curva Del Diablo. Only a kayak can enter
this labyrinth of mangrove lagoons. View an incredible variety
of marine and bird life. Great dinners & a chance to get into
the rhythm of Adventure Travel. Baja bowling, & more fun!
Day Six:
The mountains of Cape San Lazaro provide the setting for our
last night camping on the pacific. Mile after mile of sand dunes
& the ocean water that chanels through it is our play ground today.
Day Seven:
Today we break camp & paddle past Punta Edie & arrive at Puerto
San Carlos, near the spot where Magdalenes Bay empties into the
Pacific. Travel back to La Paz, shower at our hotel, shop & get ready
for our farewell dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant.
Day Eight:
Travel Back to US (or continue you Mexican holiday) filled with
warmth, tan smiles, stories & pictures!

Price includes all kayaking & camping equipment, food while kayaking
along Isla Magdelena, Hotel room(double occupancy) first & last night,

Kayaking The Sea Of Cortez, Mexico. Isla Espiritu Santo
January 25-31
This delightfull 7 day getaway to the Baja of Mexico
& the Sea of Cortez will prove to be the highlight of
the year. Five days will be spent kayaking along
the west cost of Isla Espiritu Santo. We will
kayak bright blue waters, swim with sea lion pups,
snorkel coral coves, walk the beaches, & explore
this most interesting Island. Come join us!
The Itinerary:
Day One: Fly from the US to La Paz Baja, Mexico
& stay in a local Hotel. Evening cocktail party.
Day Two:
Transfer from La Paz to Isla Espiritu Santo by panga.
Swim with sea lion pups, do a bit of kayaking,
& set up camp on a wonderful beach.
Day Three & Four:
Continue kayak exploration of the island to Candelero Beach.
Hike to the other side of the island & take advantage
of a fresh water well for a shower & rinse.
Day Five:
Paddle to Caralito Beach with an opportunity to stop &
snorkel at an off shore island. Optional hike to the top of
near by cliffs to see an amazing sun set.
Day Six:
Kayak to playa Dispensa and explore a unique mangrove lagoon.
Afternoon panga ride back to La Paz, our hotel & a shower.
Evening farewell dinner.
Day Seven:
Travel Back to US (or continue your Mexican holiday) filled with
warmth, tan smiles, stories & pictures!
